Summary: The concepts of myelination and deep practice can be applied to all facets of life. It can be applied to individuals, to families, businesses and even nations. It happens every day in all kinds of situations and that is where success springs up. Myelination is a process that requires error detection and deep practice mixed with ignition and inspiration.Success in education is deeply dependent on what kind of teachers you have. Teachers should spend lots of time myelinating their teaching circuits. When we are young myelinating is easy. Even though myelin deteriorates over time we never lose our capacity to wrap myelin through deep practice.
Key Concepts: Apply deep practice and myelination to every aspect of your life. Explaining the process of myelination to the individual seeking to attain a skill helps them in the process of achieving. "It is not events, but our opinions about them which cause us suffering."

Making Connections: The whole epilogue is about making connections. These principles apply to every day life. They apply to me as a teacher, a student, a sister, a friend, you name it and these principles directly influence it. Reading this book has changed my approach to a lot of things. I am more positive and aware about skill and wrapping that myelin to bring success!
