In chapter ten I learned that it is very important to be able to connect emotionally and somewhat spiritually to be able to help a student in the most effective way possible. Coach Martinez got jemarcus and many other students to perform as well as they could through making them feel comfortable around him. Then he could coach them and they would trust him. He believed in continual improvement. And that everybody always needs a coach to continue to train them throughout their lives.

Key concept: the best of the best are always striving to progress. Improvement never stops
Connection: I need to understand that I will always need help, but at the same time I have to learn to train myself and be able to recognize when I need help.
