Plan:
-Stretch
-How is your voice today?
-Vocalize: focus on a low laryngeal position, easy airflow and onset and released jaw
-Work on song
Goals:
Short-
1. Work on Kathy's posture. Her body is fairly tense and locked down. I think mostly it is that her chest is collapsed. I think I try having her stand against the wall with her arms up to open up that chest more. I think maybe using more movement will help her to loosen up her body a bit more.
2. Warming up Kathy's tone a bit. She pushes a lot and the sound is very pressed. If I can help her find a lower laryngeal position (maybe use the hum of indecision and low speaking) and open her mouth more (Not sure what to do for that one) I think the sound will have more warmth and natural ring to it.
Long-
1. Build up Kathy's internal model so that she can tell the difference between when the sound is free and when it isn't
