Jake TC chapter 4

SUMMARY: to aquire skill we have to take certain elements and group them together in such a way that they work harmoniously in a framework. We have to chunk pieces if information together to have the circuits firing sufficiently. I could practice for 3 to 5 hours a day, but am I doing it an effective way that will promote the growth of myeline? Some of the best tennis players in the world only practice for an hour a day or so, because once the skill they have been studying is learned with perfect technique, (I think that the myeline is what has done the trick) they only need to practice for an hour. But it must be with that perfect technique.
KEY CONCEPT: You don't have to practice for multiple hours a day. You need to practice the right way for as along as you can while building myeline-woven circuits.
KEY TERMS: HSE, chunk it up. Imitation
MAKING CONNECTIONS:I have to break down my work into the smallest chunks possible, and go over them at different speeds, different orders, until I can recognize these chunks even when they are not in the correct order.
